ZHU Feng


ZHU Feng, born in April 1964, in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, acquired his PhD from the School of International Studies, Peking University. He served as the Executive Director of the Collaborative Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies at Nanjing University, professor of the Department of History, doctoral supervisor, and distinguished professor at Nanjing University. He is an invited researcher of China peace and Development Research Center, invited researcher of China Center for Contemporary World Studies of the International Department, Central Committee of the CPC. He is also a non-residential research fellow of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, a member of Editorial Board of East Asian Quarterly, Australian Quarterly of International Relations (both are prestigious SSCI journals). He is a member of Academic Freedom Committee of the International Studies Association. He was a member of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the 11th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (member of the Communist Party of China), a member of the 10th All-China Youth Federation, Director of the Overseas Chinese Returnees Association, and a member of the 9th-10th Beijing Youth Federation.
