ZHANG Xiaoming, male, Doctor of Laws of the Department of International Political Science, Peking University. He is from Jianou, Fujian Province, and serves as a Professor of School of International Studies, Peking University. Research fields: Theory of International Relations, US-East Asian Relations and China’s Peripheral Safety Environment. Courses: East-West Relations, Studies on the History of Cold War, Analysis of China’s Peripheral Safety Environment, US-East Asian Relations, Theory and History of Great Power Relations, Theory of International Relations and History of International Relations (II). Scientific research projects: “China’s Peripheral Safety Environment at the Turn of the Century”, “Historical Evolution of US-East Asian Relations”, and “From Civilization Standards to New Civilization Standards: China and the Changes in International Norms”.
