ZHA Daojiong


ZHA Daojiong, male, Han Nationality, studied in Washington University in Central America, Manoa Campus of the University of Hawaii and the East-West Center successively, and obtained a doctorate in political science. He started working in the School of International Studies, Peking University in September 2007. He focuses on non-traditional security issues in contemporary China-foreign relations in his teaching and researches, including energy, minerals, food and cross-border water resources. In terms of regional/country relations, he focuses more on the interaction between China and other countries in Asia and the Pacific, and the development of economic relations between China and Europe and between China and African countries. He strives to learn from his interactions with international organizations, government agencies and transnational enterprises and contribute to the promotion of China-foreign practical exchange at different levels. His research interests include international political economy, non-traditional security, political risk management of transnational investment and operation of Chinese enterprises.
