WU Baiyi


WU Baiyi, male, born in 1962, acquired his master’s degree in International Studies at University of Iowa. He, as a professor, works as the Director of Institute of American Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and a member of the expert panel of the Ministry of Emergency Management. NI is a standing member, member, member of the Academic Committee, and senior researcher in many institutions including the Institute of World Development of the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Institute of Ecological Economy, the China Foundation for International and Strategic Studies, China Reform Forum, the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, China Strategy Culture Promotion Association, the National Security Policy Committee of the China Association of Policy Science, Huazhi Research Center of Nanjing University. WU once served as the Deputy Director of Research Department, Director of the Fund Department of China Foundation for International and Strategic Studies and worked as a researcher there. He served at the Institute of European Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences as the Director of its Department of International Politics, Vice Director of the Institute, and member of its Academic Committee.
