LIU Dehuan

LIU Dehuan, male, born in 1966 of Han nationality, holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Peking University. He serves as a Professor at School of New Media at Peking University, the Vice Dean of School of Journalism and Communication at Peking University, the President of National Market Research Association (President of Research Branch of China Information Association & President of Market Research Branch of China Association of Market Information and Research), the Vice President of China Association of Market Information and Research, and the Deputy Director of Center for Market and Media Research at Peking University. Liu was selected as a scholar of Beijing's "Hundred People Project", and his work "On Age" won the third prize of Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education of China. His research areas are communication, new media and market research.
