JI Zhiye, male, PhD of History Studies in Russian Vladimir Normal University, was born in May 1956 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. He is at present a researcher, doctoral supervisor and the President of China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, member of Foreign Affairs Committee of the 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, member of Russian-Chinese Committee of Friendship Peace and Development, Chairman of the Think Tank Council of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Committee of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Vice Chairperson of Eastern European and Central Asia Association, consultant of international affairs of the Press Center of China Central Television, etc.
