HUANG Renwei


HUANG Renwei, male, PhD of History Studies, was born in September 1954 in Haimen, Jiangsu Province. He works as a researcher, doctoral supervisor, distinguished researcher of the Cross-Strait Relations Research Center of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, decision-making consultant of Shanghai Municipal Government, Vice Chairperson of International Relations Association of Shanghai, Vice Chairperson of Shanghai Society of U.S., Executive Director of Shanghai Society of Taiwan Studies, Executive Director of National U.S. Economic Association, Director and Executive Director of National U.S. History Association, Director of Pudong U.S. Economic Research Center, and Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute for International Studies. In 2001, HUANG was honored with State Council special allowance. He was previously the Vice Chairperson of China National Association for International Studies, Director of History Institute of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Vice President of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and Dean of International Relations and Foreign Affairs Institute of Shanghai International Studies University.
