GUO Yan, female, obtained her master’s degree in Public Health and is at present the professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Public Health of Peking University. She also serves as the Chairperson of Public Health Committee of China Health Economics Association, Vice Chairperson of Chinese Society of Social Medicine and Chinese Society of Global Health Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, and the Head of Beijing International Public Health Association. GUO used to be the Secretary of the Party Committee of Health Science Center of Peking University, member of the Commission on Social Determinants of Health of World Health Organization and the board member of Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health. Her research interests lie in health policy and global health.
