GONG Liutang


GONG Liutang, male, is the head of Office of Humanities and Social Sciences and professor and doctoral supervisor of Department of Applied Economics of Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, Distinguished Professor of “The Yangtze River Scholar” by the Ministry of Education (MOE), and the recipient of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. In 2004, GONG was selected as one of the first batch of New Century Excellent Talents by the MOE and won the first prize of the Teaching Competition on National Outstanding Young Teacher (Research) founded by the 9th Fok Ying Tung Foundation of the MOE. His research interests lie in macroeconomics, dynamic economics, public finance, and other related issues on Chinese economy. In terms of scientific research, GONG mainly focuses on macroeconomic policy, public finance, economic growth, dynamic economics and other related fields.
