DONG Guanpeng

DONG Guanpeng, male, born in May 1975 in Anshan, Liaoning Province, acquired his PhD in International Relations at Department of East Asian Studies, Durham University. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Communication University of China, Dean of School of Government and Public Affairs, Director of Academic Education, and Dean of the School of Professional Training and Executive Education. He is the Director of the National Education Center for Leadership and Communication, Director of the Academic Committee of the Academy of Media and Public Affairs, and expert of News Release Planning and Evaluation of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee (Information Office of the State Council). He also serves as Vice Chairperson and Executive Director of China Public Relations Association, member of the Expert Panel of the News Release Planning and Evaluation of the Information Office of the State Council, member of the Expert Committee of the Food Safety Commission of the State Council, judicial communication expert of the Supreme People’s court, member of the National Nuclear Emergency expert committee, Vice Chairman of the Publicity and Education Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, member of the Information Committee of the Chinese Football Association, etc. At the same time, he is employed as an adjunct professor at the National Academy of Governance, a visiting professor to the Central Institute of Socialism, a lecture professor at the China Business Executive Academy of Dalian of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, an adjunct professor at the National Prosecutors College of P.R.C, a visiting professor for the course of senior foreign military officers at the International College of Defense Studies of the National Defense University of the People’s Liberation Army. He is a distinguished professor for EMBA, DBA, AMP and EMT courses at Peking University and Tsinghua University. He is a visiting professor of Hult Ashridge Business School in the UK and Bangkok University in Thailand.
