SUN Lizhou

SUN Lizhou, male, obtained his Ph.D., master and bachelor degrees at the School of International Studies, and a double bachelor degree at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Peking University. He exchanged at Copenhagen University and worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Nankai University, Deputy Director of the Center for Pakistan Culture and Communication Studies, Tsinghua University, Researcher of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, at Chongqing University, Chief Writer of the monthly journal Green Living, Vice President of Institute of World and China Agenda, Executive Director of Himalaya Institute, researcher of Human Rights Institute, Southwest University of Political Science and Law(SWUPL). He is currently a researcher of the School of Global Journalism and Communication, SWUPL; a Senior Researcher of Hinge Vision think tank; a Researcher of CITIC Institute of Reform and Development; a Researcher of Pangoal Institution; Guest Researcher at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China; a Researcher of Liaoning University-China National Democratic Construction Association Joint Institute; Deputy Director of Warm Boon Institute for Global Studies, Adviser of Rue Morgue(Shanghai) Culture Ltd. Co, Senior Adviser of Flame Consultation LTD., and freelance interpreter. He is interested in research on the “Belt and Road” initiative, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, the Islamic world, Japan, the U.S., etc. He has published hundreds of academic essays and media articles and translated 5 books.
