Zhao Minghao achieved his PhD in International Relations at Peking University, and now a professor of Institute of International Studies and Center for American Studies, Fudan University, a key institute of Humanities and Social Sciences designated by the Ministry of Education. ZHAO is also a member of the China National Committee of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP), an invited researcher of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies, Peking University, and a visiting researcher of the Center for International Strategy and Security, Tsinghua University. He used to engage in investigation of international issues and communication of think tanks in the International Department of the CPC Central Committee for a long time. His research interests include the U.S.’s Asia-Pacific policy, China-U.S. relations, international security and strategy, etc. ZHAO has written many policy research reports that have been approved by the leaders of the Central Committee for many times, and he also has led and participated in many projects of National Social Science Fund (Major) and other projects entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Development and Reform Commission, China Development Research Foundation, etc.
