Yang Cheng, male, born in 1977, Han nationality, member of the Communist Party of China, Doctor of Law of East China Normal University, Professor of Shanghai International Studies University, Deputy Director of the Russian Studies Center of East China Normal University, Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Shanghai Russian Studies magazine. He is a part-time researcher of the China Foreign Affairs Research Center of Fudan University. He is a specially appointed consulting expert at the Department of Revitalizing the Northeast of the National Development and Reform Commission. He was the Assistant Dean of the School of Advanced International and Area Studies of East China Normal University. He has led many national projects focusing on relations between Russia and major powers, cooperation between China and Russia in neighboring regions, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Central Asian issues and so on.
