To commemorate the 100thanniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), iGCU and the Nepal Institute of International and Strategic Studies (NIISS) co-hosted an online seminar on “Commemorating 100 years of the Communist Party of China: Innovation and Resilience” on May 31, 2021. More than 20 dignitaries and scholars from both countries participated as guests, discussing various topics relating to “The History and Achievements of the CPC”, “China’s Contribution to Global Challenges: China-Nepal Cooperation in Combating COVID-19”, “Nepal and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)”, and “Theory and Practice of the CPC in Governance”. The participants positively evaluated the cooperation between China and Nepal under various frameworks such as the BRI, the prevention and control of the COVID-19 and global governance, and envisioned the bilateral future.

The seminar on “Commemorating Centenary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China: Innovation and Resilience” provided a platform for China and Nepal to enhance people-to-people exchanges and understanding, as well as the cooperation between China and foreign countries, which is significant for China to summarize its experience in governance and cooperation over the past 100 years.
