“China-U.S. Student Opinion Leaders Exchanges Event” co-organized by iGCU

On June 12, the “China-U.S. Student Opinion Leaders Exchanges Event,”hosted by the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation, co-organized by PKUYCA and iGCU, was successfully held at Peking University.The event featured over 20 opinion leaders from multiple U.S. universities.

Prof. Fan Shiming underscored in his welcome speech the significance of strengthening people-to-people bonds given the challenges facing China-US Relations. He then highlighted PKU’s inclusiveness and openness and its successful efforts in facilitating people-to-people exchanges between China and the U.S. Prof. Fan further encouraged the U.S. students to have in-depth and meaningful conversations with PKU students during the event.

The future of China-U.S. relations lies in young people. This event highlighted the growing friendship between Chinese and U.S. youth.As the young people of both nations get to know one another better,they can contribute more significantly to achieving the goal of common prosperity.
