He emphasized China’s consistent position of promoting dialogue over confrontation and cooperation over exclusion. He called for enhancing people-to-people exchanges and mutual trust to promote modernization and common prosperity across the Global South through practical actions.

The event featured two main discussion topics: “Chinese Modernization and New Opportunities for China–South Sudan Cooperation” and “Global Challenges and Solutions.” During the discussion session, participants exchanged views on topics such as economic cooperation, infrastructure, and education. Many acknowledged that China’s support for South Sudan in petroleum development, infrastructure construction, and talent cultivation has yielded remarkable results, offering valuable insights for the country’s own modernization path.

This seminar provided a vital platform to strengthen strategic mutual trust and jointly envision a blueprint for modernization between China and South Sudan, injecting new momentum into practical bilateral cooperation.
