WU Bingbing, male, acquired his PhD in Language and Literature at Peking University. He is the Deputy Director of the Arabic Language and Culture Department of School of Foreign Languages at Peking University, Dean of Institute of Arab Islamic Culture of Peking University and an invited researcher of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies of Peking University. He currently serves as the Director of Chinese Association of Middle East Studies, Deputy Secretary General of China Arabian Language Education Association, Director of China-Arab Friendship Association and China-Iran Friendship Association. In recent years, he mainly engaged in researches on Middle Eastern politics, Iranian politics and diplomacy, and Islamic history and culture.
