TU Xinquan


TU Xinquan, male, was born in Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province in 1973, and obtained his PhD in International Trade at University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). He is now a professor and doctoral supervisor, as well as the President of China Institute for WTO Studies and Director of Institute for International Bidding and Government Procurement of UIBE, delegate of the 14th National People’s Congress of Beijing, foreign trade expert of the Economic and Trade Policy Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and special economic analyst of Xinhua News Agency. TU has led a number of key projects of National Social Science Fund of China, projects entrusted by MOFCOM, major projects of the key research base supported by the Ministry of Education (MOE), youth’s projects of National Social Science Fund of China, Research-initiating Fund for Returned Overseas Students and humanities and social sciences projects of MOE. His researches mainly focus on WTO, China-US economic and trade relations, government procurement agreement, China trade policy and global economic governance.
