QIN Yaqing

QIN Yaqing, male, was born in October 1953 in Zibo, Shandong Province, and obtained his PhD in Political Science at University of Missouri.

QIN, doctoral supervisor, enjoys the State Council Special Allowance. He is the Vice Chairperson of China National Association for International Studies as well as Chinese Association of American Studies, member of Foreign Policy Advisory Group of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China’s country coordinator of the Network of East Asian Think-tanks, member of Academic Committee of School of International Studies as well as Director of Institute of International and Strategic Studies, Peking University, member of Academic Committee of Fudan Institute for Advanced Study in Social Sciences, and editorial board member of the journals of World Economics and Politics and Global Governance (Canada). He was also the President and the Party Secretary of China Foreign Affairs University.
