FANG Fang

FANG Fang obtained a PhD in Philosophy at University of Minnesota (U.S.). He is the Director of Discipline Development Office, Dean of School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences, Director of Beijing Key Laboratory of Behavior and Mental Health of Peking University, Executive Associate Director of the IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research, Associate Director of Key Laboratory of Machine Perception and Intelligence of Ministry of Education, and a professor of Psychology and doctoral supervisor. He was included in the “Excellent Young Talents Introduction Program” by Peking University and appointed as a research fellow of the “Hundred Talents Plan” by Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research seeks to understand visual perception, attention and awareness, and the neural mechanisms of visual and cognitive processes by combining brain imaging, neural control technology, psychophysics, computational modeling and human genetics.
