[Abstract] Re-Globalization: New Perspectives on Understanding China's Interaction with the World theorizes the rationality and legitimacy of China's provision of public goods as an emerging power. Against the backdrop of the current decline in the ability and willingness of Western countries to provide public goods and the intensification of social inequality due to economic preferentialization, emerging countries represented by China have stronger strength and willingness than before to provide public goods to leaning societies, promote the upgrading and expansion of economic preferentialization, and bring economic preferentialization into an inclusive stage of development. One of the unique contributions of "Re-Globalization: New Perspectives on Understanding China's Interaction with the World" is that it proposes "closed", "involutional", "de-embedded" and "inclusive" economic development in accordance with the political and economic logic of preferentialization. "The authors use this framework to analyze the different stages of the current form and dynamics of preferentialization. The authors believe that inclusive preferentialization is a unique form of preferentialization process into the stage of "re-preferentialization", which provides new space and possibilities for upgrading and expansion of economic preferentialization. This is in sharp contrast to the old position of rejecting or even opposing the participation of emerging countries in economic preferentialization, which has long existed under the influence of polarization thinking and zero-sum game thinking. China's inclusive, symbiotic, shared and inclusive thinking provides a rich spiritual and cultural source for the new round of economic preferentialization promoted by China towards a new inclusive stage. Second, "Re-Globalization: New Perspectives on Understanding China's Interaction with the World" analyzes China's realistic contribution to the new round of economic preferentialization from four main aspects: the "Belt and Road" initiative, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Alibaba's preferential reforms, and China's innovative experiments in free trade zones. The book mentions three major advantages of China in leading economic preferentialization, namely, its infrastructure advantages, diversified development experiences, and huge development potential in emerging technologies, which provide a realistic basis for China to promote the healthy development of the new round of preferentialization. Later, "Re-Globalization: A New Perspective on Understanding China's Interaction with the World" also maps out a visionary roadmap for China's strategic choice to lead "re-optimization". Re-Globalization: A New Perspective on Understanding China's Interaction with the World not only provides a comprehensive analysis of China's strategic options for "re-preferentialization" based on two dimensions: time and space, but also combines China's existing long-term plans and proposals with the future direction of world development to optimize the combination of China's strategic options for "re-preferentialization". "It is quite innovative, predictable and practicable.
