WANG Jisi, male, Han Ethnicity, was born in November 1948 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. He was admitted to the Department of International Politics of Peking University in 1978. He is currently a Boya chair professor and a doctoral supervisor of Peking University, as well as a Chinese scientist on international politics and a renowned scholar on American issues. He used to be the former President of the School of International Studies, Peking University. Now, he is the Chairman of the Chinese Association of American Studies, Vice Chairman of China Reform Forum, Vice Chairman of China National Association for International Studies and Vice President of China International Economic Relations Association, adjunct professor of National Defence University of People’s Liberation Army, adjunct professor of Renmin University of China, academic committee member of Center for American Studies, Fudan University, editorial board member of Social Sciences in China, etc. He has mainly engaged in teaching and research on American diplomacy, China-U.S. relations and international political theories.
