On May 20, the third session of the ‘Dongming Book House’ co-organized by iGCU and the School of International Studies (SIS) of Peking University was successfully held online. Prof. Wang Weihua (Associate Professor of School of International Studies at Peking University) was invited to talk about his recently published translation work - the Chinese version of ‘Passion, Craft, and Method in Comparative Politics’ by Gerardo L. Munck and Richard Snyder (Published in 2021, originally in English).
During the discussion session, Prof. Wang shared his experience of doing social science research with students andtalked about what he has learned when translating the book. stressed that different scientific research methods exist to help us clarify complex questions, not to make simple questions more complicated.
