CHEN Xiaogong, male, was born in August 1949 in Rongcheng, Shandong Province. Lieutenant General (retired), graduates from the Jilin University and the People's Liberation Army Military Academy. He served successively as Defense attaché in Chinese Embassy in Egypt and in the U.S.A from 1998 to 2003. He worked in the position of the Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Central Commission of CPC from 2003 to 2006. He was appointed Assistant Chief of the General Staff in 2007. In 2009, he served as Deputy Commander of Chinese Air Force. Chen Xiaogong is the deputy to the 11th and 12th National People's congress.
