LI Lin, Han Ethnicity, was born in Wuhan, Hubei Province. With a PhD at University of Pittsburgh, she currently serves as a professor of Economics at the National School of Development (former China Center for Economic Research of Peking University) and the Director at Center for Health and Development Studies of Peking University. She ever won the honorary title of “Top Ten Tutors” of Peking University and the State Council Special Allowance. Named as a member of the Expert Group of Urban Resident Basic Medical Insurance Household Survey sponsored by the State Council and an advisor of World Bank on China Health Care Reform, Professor LI is one of the experts who first proposed the Government’s leading role in public healthcare in China.
