PANG Zhongying

PANG Zhongying, male, born in December 1962 in Shanxi Province, acquired his Ph.D. in Laws from Peking University. He is a famous international political scholar and now serves as a doctoral supervisor, professor and President of the Institute of Marine Development of the Ocean University of China, associate professor of School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, doctoral supervisor and professor of Department of International Relations and Director of the Global Institute, Nankai University. PANG used to be an assistant and lecturer of the Department of International Economics of the Renmin University of China, assistant researcher and Deputy Director of the Research Division of International Economic Relations of the Institute of World Economics and Politics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Second Secretary of Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, board member of social organizations such as UN Association of China and China Reform Forum. His main research interests and teaching orientations are global issues and global governance, Asian and African studies, international politics and economy, analysis of diplomatic policy.
