QU Jingdong

QU Jingdong, male, was born in 1970. He gained his PhD in Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. QU now serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Sociology, Associate Dean of the Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies, Peking University. He also works as Council Member of the Chinese Sociological Association, Member of the Professional Technical Qualification Evaluation Committee of the Department of Social Science and Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Member of the Academic Committee of Zhejiang University Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Social Sciences, Adjunct professor of the School of Education of Peking University, and Academic Member of the German Studies Center of Peking University. His researches are mainly involved in history of western sociological thought, history of Chinese sociology, organizational sociology, social structure research, etc.
