ZHANG Haibin


ZHANG Haibin, male, born in Tongcheng, Guizhou Province, obtained his PhD at School of International Studies of Peking University. Now he serves as the Associate Dean of School of International Relations, professor, doctoral supervisor and Dean of Department of International Organizations and International Public Policy of Peking University. In addition, he is also the Director of Institute for International Organizations of Peking University, member of the Executive Board of U.N. Association of China, member of the Trade and Environment Expert Group of the Ministry of Commerce, member of the Expert Committee of National Public Services of Culture and Tourism of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, member of Climate and Security Expert Group of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, member of the Theoretical Board of China Environment Culture Promotion Association, member of the Climate Change and Low Carbon Development Committee of Chinese Meteorological Society, member of the Chinese National Committee for Future Earth and member of the Global Health Committee of Chinese Medical Association. ZHANG has undertaken more than 40 national, ministerial and overseas scientific research projects related to National Key Research and Development Program of China, National Science and Technology Support Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Humanities and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, National Forestry and Grass Administration, Ministry of Commerce, etc. His researches mainly focus on international organizations and global governance, international environment and climate politics, China's environmental diplomacy, etc. and he has also participated in UN negotiations on environment and climate.
