On June 6, 2014, Professor Ka Zeng, Director of Asian Studies and professor of Political Science at the University of Arkansas, visited the School of International Studies and gave a luncheon lecture entitled "Domestic Politics and China-US Trade Disputes on Renewable Energy". The lecture was presided over by Professor Wang Yong and attended by many teachers and students.In the lecture, Professor Ka Zeng proposed an interpretation model of a two-level game to analyze the impact of domestic politics on China-US trade disputes, and verified the explanatory power of the model using the case of trade disputes between China and the United States in the fields of new energy, semiconductors and automobiles.Afterwards, the teachers attending the lecture held an in-depth discussion with Professor Ka Zeng on local government factors, trade association factors and how to formulate relevant policies in the formulation process of Chinese policies.
