On Mar. 18, the second session of the 'Dongming Book House' was held in the Dongming Discussion Room at the School of International Studies (SIS) of Peking University. Prof. Zhang Xiaoming (Professor of School of International Studies at Peking University, iGCU Academic Committee member) sat for an interview with iGCU and talked about his book, ‘The Study of George Kennan's Containment Theory.’ (Published in 2021). Following the interview, Prof. Zhang joined the discussion session with students, and shared the interesting stories behind the book, and talked a bit more about his experience of combining IR theories with history when conducting research on significant historical figure(s).
