[Mediterranean Forum] “A strategic nexus: the Euro-Mediterranean Region and China” (III)

The workshop titled "A strategic nexus: the Euro-Mediterranean Region and China", co-sponsored by iGCU and the Center for the Mediterranean Area Studies (CMAS) of Peking University, was held from May 24-26. More than 30 former officials, renowned experts and business representatives attended the event and had in-depth discussions on Politics, International Relations, Finance, Trade, Technology and Climate.

The fifth seminar, themed “Between connectivity & security: the new role of technology in China-EuroMed relations”, was chaired by Prof. Ori Sela, Associate Professor in the Department of East Asian Studies at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Gadi Ariav, Retired Associate Professor of Technology and Information Systems Management at the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University, delivered a keynote speech.

The sixth seminar focused on “Global warming (up): the emerging joint quest for climate sustainability and its impact on global connectivity & security”. Prof. Colin Price, Researcher and lecturer in Atmospheric Sciences in the School of Geosciences at Tel Aviv University, delivered a keynote speech. More than ten former dignitaries, experts, scholars and business representatives attended the two seminars, discussing building an inter-regional strategic link among the Europe-Mediterranean region and China based on the two main themes of the conference.
