The China-U.S. Relationship & Building the Balance of Power in East Asia

On October 28, the seminar of “The China-U.S. Relationship & Building the Balance of Power in East Asia”, co-hosted by the Chinese People's Association For Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) and the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, was successfully held online. The meeting focused on how China and the United States could achieve balance of power in East Asia, and the potential challenges in the reconstruction of order in East Asia. The meeting was chaired by Wang Dong, Executive Director of the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding of Peking University (iGCU). Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institutes of International Studies (SIIS), Anna Ashton, Vice President of The US-China Business Council, and several other experts on China-US issues attended the meeting. At the end of the meeting, Tao Tao, Deputy Secretary General of CPAPD, made a concluding speech.
