iGCU Co-hosts India-China Tech Forum in Mumbai, India

On Dec. 11-12, 2018, the India-China Tech Forum 2018 took place in Mumbai, India, jointly hosted by the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding (iGCU) of Peking University, Pangoal Institution, the esteemed Indian think tank Observer Research Foundation and Ji Xianlin Center for India-China Studies, University of Mumbai. The event attracted extensive attention from various circles in China and India and was participated by over 100 personages from the technological, entrepreneurial and policy communities of the two countries.

In his address, Consul-General Tang Guocai congratulated on the successful convening of the forum and pointed out, the forum has come at the right time with remarkable significance as it is the first-time gathering of Chinese and Indian technological, industry, academic and think tank communities and an important platform for them to discuss ways to enhance the scientific and technological, economic and trade as well as people-to-people exchanges between China and India.

Associate Professor Wang Dong noted in his speech, the forum aimed to bring together Chinese and Indian technological, industry, academic and think tank communities to create an important platform to promote bilateral cooperation in science, technology and culture, reinforce the foundation of people-to-people exchanges and facilitate the healthy and stable development of China-India relations.
