Beijing, June 1, 2024–The School of Journalism and Communication at Peking University, in collaboration with the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding (iGCU) at Peking University, successfully held the "Global Stage of Social Media: Dialogue and Exchange Among Chinese and Foreign Youth" event. Young representatives from countries such as the United States, Brazil, and Colombia engaged in deep discussions on social media applications, content creation, and user interaction strategies, sharing unique insights from their respective media ecosystems.
During interviews conducted by the iGCU, these young influencers expressed their admiration for China’s stunning landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture. They eagerly anticipated visiting iconic landmarks in Beijing, tasting authentic Chinese cuisine, and experiencing traditional cultural practices firsthand.
