HAO Ping, male, was born in September 1959 in Qingdao, Shandong Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and achieved his doctor’s degree in International Relations at Peking University. HAO is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor and President of Peking University. He once served as the Director of Office of International Relations, assistant to the President, Vice President and member of the CPC Standing Committee of the Peking University Education Foundation, member of the CPC Standing Committee and Vice President of Peking University. In addition, he also used to be the President of Beijing Foreign Studies University, Vice Minister and member of the Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Education, Chairman of Chinese National Commission for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Vice Chairman of the Red Cross Society of China, President of the 37th Session of the General Conference of the UNESCO, Secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University, alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee and member of the National Committee of the 11th CPPCC.
