MA Weihua

MA Weihua, male, was born in June 1949 in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, and his ancestors originally came from Henan Province. He achieved his doctor’s degree in Economics at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and the honorary doctorate at the University of Southern California. MA is currently a senior economist, Chairman of the Board of China Global Philanthropy Institute, member of Board of Directors of Jilin University, Executive Council Member of China Society for Finance and Banking, Vice Chairman of China Enterprise Directors Association, and President of Shenzhen Quality City Promotion Association. He used to be the former director and President of China Merchants Bank, but now he is a council member of Southern University of Science and Technology and Shenzhen Finance Institute.
