DONG Zhenghua, male, Han Ethnicity, PhD in history, is now Professor and Postgraduate Supervisor of the Department of History, Peking University. His research interests include modernization theory and process, modern history of Asia, comparison of modernization of East Asia, development of inland rural areas in China. The courses he taught mainly include general history of the world, modern history of Asia, Africa and Latin America, modernization theory and process.
