HUANG Tiejun

HUANG Tiejun, male, Han ethnicity. Doctor of Institute of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and was a postdoc of the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is now Professor of School of Information Science and Technology, Peking University, Director of Department of Computer Science and Technology, Director of Digital Media Research Institute, Deputy Director of National Engineering Laboratory for video Technology, and winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. In April 2015, he was selected into the list of distinguished professors of 2015 "Chang Jiang Scholars Program". His main research direction is image recognition and video coding. He has presided over more than ten national scientific research projects and published more than 120 academic papers.
