WU Xinbo

WU Xinbo, male, PhD of International Relations Studies in Fudan University, was born in 1966 in Anhui Province. He is the Dean of Institute of International Studies of Fudan University, Director of American Research Center of Fudan University which is the a key institute of Humanities and Social Sciences designated by the Ministry of Education, Vice Dean of Fudan Development Institute, Distinguished Professor and doctoral supervisor of Fudan University, Executive Director of the Chinese Association of American Studies, Vice Chairperson of Shanghai International Relations Association of Shanghai, Vice Chairperson of Shanghai American Association, President of Shanghai Institute of American Studies, Shanghai Shuguang Scholar, Excellent Talent for New Century by Ministry of Education, member of Expert Committee of Area and Regional Studies by Ministry of Education, adjunct researcher of Cross-Strait Relations Research Center of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. WU also works as the editorial board member of academic journals including American Studies, Global Review, Asia-Pacific Security and Maritime Affairs, The Washington Quarterly, European Journal of International Security, etc., and global advisor of International Affairs. He was the Vice Chairperson (2012-2013) and Chairperson (2013-2014) of Geopolitical Risk Council of World Economic Forum, and now Director of American Asia Society Policy Institute, member of Trilateral Commission, and member of the China National Committee of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific.
