[Summary]

Due to the mounting uncertainty in the identity and interests of the growing China and the influence and containment of third countries facing China and the United States, there are voices in both countries that China and the United States will inevitably go to confrontation. This article believes that the interest foundation for cooperation between China and the United States is still solid, the willingness to cooperate still exists, and building a new type of relationship between major powers continues to be the most correct possible choice for China and the United States.
