[Author]WEN Dongmao

[Summary]

Minban education is a kind of public-benefit, so that it shouldn't be for-profit", does this assumption sound reasonable? Based on the analysis of the public-benefits, economic surplus and profitability of Minban education, this paper concludes that public-benefits is not contradictory to profitability in Minban education. If a part of education institutions were permitted to legally seek profit, it would be no harm to public-benefits, but even facilitate education development, thereby enhance public-benefits as a whole.
